Broderick Furniture was established in 1947 when Michael Broderick
snr. stumbled on an auction
room in Dublin and bought his first load of second hand furniture
imported from England which he proceeded to sell after Mass on
Sunday, and in farm buildings beside his house.
Having being taken over by his son Michael Broderick jr. in the
early 1960s the business has developed into what it is today a
60,000 sq. ft furniture superstore; located in the heart of the
East Clare countryside in Killanena, Co. Clare - the store enjoys
panoramic views of Lough Graney and the surrounding countryside.
Today this family owned business is ran by the late Michael Jnr’s
Son and two daughters.
The family travels extensively sourcing high quality furniture
around the world, which they can sell at very competitive prices. The business has developed extensively throughout the years
without the need for huge advertising, relying instead on ‘word of
mouth’ advertising from satisfied customers throughout Ireland who
have purchased in their store.
The customer can enjoy a unique shopping experience at Brodericks,
with ample parking, beautiful views and complimentary home baking
in our coffee shop overlooking Lough Graney.
